The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Albin Holweck a yellow card for diving instead. Albin Holweck kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Afonsinho Negri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Afonsinho Negri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Germany's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Faustão Secco was slow to take the kick. During this time Berni y Benja FC's players had a chance to rest. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonsinho Negri in the 25th minute of play. Santos Isusko hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Esteve Formerio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 32ndth minute of the game Afonsinho Negri who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kärim Benzine did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Tommy Kahn 34 minutes into the match. When Frank Sachs fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Frank Sachs a yellow card for diving instead. After 37 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Frank Sachs. The supporters of Berni y Benja FC booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malte Schiele didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Berni y Benja FC's Faustão Secco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. During the 44th minute of the match Albin Holweck completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Albin Holweck a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 45th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albin Holweck to maneuver through the defense. Faustão Secco took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tommy Kahn. Germany's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 47thth minute of the game Frank Sachs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Berni y Benja FC's Amancio Videl was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Sachs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Kärim Benzine's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. 64 minutes in the game Ulrich Stein did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Linus Schwerner. Frank Sachs's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, Amancio Videl skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Afonsinho Negri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Berni y Benja FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Afonsinho Negri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 70 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Kärim Benzine came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78thth minute of the game Kärim Benzine who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 89 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Malte Schiele. 90 minutes into the match, Kärim Benzine notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 93rd minute, Kärim Benzine made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. If Kärim Benzine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Berni y Benja FC had played much better football throughout.
