The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Giorgio March showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viriato Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 5th minute, Pol Petton reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Wilson Amorim. The goal made the score 1-0. Giorgio March made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Moura in the 18th minute of play. Felipe Barreto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Giorgio March having to make a save. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Almkvist in the 24th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's goal looked a bit too open when Caetano Moreira came free, but Giorgio March reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Pimentel was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 30 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Portugal fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 29th minute. Penalty! 33 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Almkvist came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christian Almkvist made a kick off. Wilson Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christian Almkvist went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 55 minutes into the match, C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Christian Almkvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilson Amorim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Portugal's Giorgio March threw himself towards the right post 61 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Viriato Moura, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Giorgio March came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Portugal's Viriato Moura. But to his dismay, Viriato Moura quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 made a substitution. Gervasio Diagur replaced Bonifacio Abascal. C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Indar Albizua was substituted for Christian Almkvist. After 76 minutes C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Raul Caetano who took care of the corner kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pol Petton during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 77th match minute, C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pol Petton to maneuver through the defense. Saul Roman scored 3-2 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilson Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 93rd minute Bartolomeu Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giorgio March saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
