Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Emanuel Vigil made the kick off and thus started the match. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Barra Gol read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Belgium's zone, Emanuel Vigil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casper Claes came out of the goal and Emanuel Vigil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Vigil in the 12th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Casper Claes made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Emanuel Vigil sent off a good shot on target. In the 16th minute of the game Waldemar Niedziela made a throw-in which Cafu de Andrade played forward. 23 minutes into the match, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Barra Gol narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Yves Dervaux's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Barra Gol was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. 32 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Delassus came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Gabriel Delassus got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Casper Claes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 37 minutes into the match, PEÇONHENTO FC MG's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but Barra Gol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Delassus in the 41st minute of play. A collision led to PEÇONHENTO FC MG getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Waldemar Niedziela hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Belgium's Nigel Devos got a free kick in the 45th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edward Vanderstraeten to make the kick off. With a little luck, PEÇONHENTO FC MG's Barra Gol got control of the ball when Edward Vanderstraeten tried to sneak it across the goal line. Casper Claes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tarcisio Luz went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tarcisio Luz in the 71st minute of play. Emanuel Vigil's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Casper Claes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. After 84 minutes of play, PEÇONHENTO FC MG's Peter Paul Crouch made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Casper Claes was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 86th minute, Peter Paul Crouch ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Casper Claes was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Siebe Michiels fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barra Gol having to interfere. Casper Claes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tarcisio Luz, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Belgium players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for PEÇONHENTO FC MG.
