Soda f c's Wilian Domingues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 39th minute of play. The coaching staff of Soda f c protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Marian Cazador had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 56th minute of the game. One of Soda f c:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Netherlands:s goal. Wilian Domingues had in the 60thth minute some difficulties stopping Gijsbert ter Kruimer's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 63rd minute, Wim Wilmes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ümit Daman, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Wilian Domingues made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Wim Wilmes sent off a good shot on target. In the 95th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathijn Doctor to maneuver through the defense. Netherlands were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Soda f c to leave the ground with a draw.
