Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) AFC - Curitiba's Rey Pelé started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zhang Yin Si in the 5th minute of play. In the 7th minute Viriato Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto da Rocha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan Bykowski's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Wilson Amorim firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rey Pelé in the 11th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by AFC - Curitiba's Rey Pelé. But to his dismay, Rey Pelé quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When Portugal's Felipe Barreto in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AFC - Curitiba's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felipe Barreto in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fausto da Rocha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Felipe Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 24 minutes into the match, AFC - Curitiba's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Barreto came free, but Fausto da Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felipe Barreto in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fausto da Rocha saved AFC - Curitiba from getting behind. Fausto da Rocha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Viriato Moura went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Felipe Barreto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fausto da Rocha was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Fausto da Rocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viriato Moura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Viriato Moura scored 1-2 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fausto da Rocha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fausto da Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Pimentel in the 42nd minute of play. Daniel Pimentel scored 1-3 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fausto da Rocha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

AFC - Curitiba's Romário Ortiz was substituted for Rey Pelé. When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Jan Bykowski sped through Portugal's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romário Ortiz in the 58th minute of the match. Jan Bykowski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilson Amorim having to make a save. A sloppy throw-in by Matouš Carda in the 63rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Portugal's Felipe Barreto. Romário Ortiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Wilson Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. After 78 minutes of play, AFC - Curitiba's Romário Ortiz made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilson Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! AFC - Curitiba's Jan Bykowski got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hermínio Alvarenga hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romário Ortiz in the 88th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute, Jan Bykowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
