Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Rey Pelé made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th match minute, AFC - Curitiba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fábio Borges to maneuver through the defense. Fausto da Rocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Graciano Coutinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Portugal's zone, Jan Bykowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal and Jan Bykowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The throw-in from Zhang Yin Si in the 10th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Portugal's Graciano Coutinho. Wilson Amorim made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Jan Bykowski sent off a good shot on target. Jan Bykowski came free with the goalkeeper in the 17th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Wilson Amorim could save by the left post. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by AFC - Curitiba's Jan Bykowski. But to his dismay, Jan Bykowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 28 minutes into the game, Portugal's Felipe Barreto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fausto da Rocha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felipe Barreto in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fausto da Rocha saved AFC - Curitiba from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in AFC - Curitiba's zone, Caetano Moreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fausto da Rocha came out of the goal and Caetano Moreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. AFC - Curitiba's Fausto da Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caetano Moreira in the 37th minute of play. When Portugal's Caetano Moreira in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AFC - Curitiba's goalie prevented a goal. After 40 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Caetano Moreira. Jan Bykowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Wilson Amorim made a huge save. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Bykowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. AFC - Curitiba made a substitution. Romário Ortiz replaced Rey Pelé. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

55 minutes into the match, Jan Bykowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jan Bykowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Romário Ortiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The AFC - Curitiba fans' excitement grew in the 63rd match minute when AFC - Curitiba's Jan Bykowski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Romário Ortiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Amorim having to interfere. After 67 played minutes AFC - Curitiba got a freekick which was hit by Hermínio Alvarenga. In the 71st minute Zhang Yin Si shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, AFC - Curitiba's Fausto da Rocha got control of the ball when Viriato Moura tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 74 minutes of play, AFC - Curitiba's Romário Ortiz made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilson Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. Fausto da Rocha didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-3 in the ordered_time% minute. 83 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Romário Ortiz came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matouš Carda in the 84th minute of play. In the 85th minute, August Wahlnäs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 86 minutes into the match, AFC - Curitiba's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolomeu Dias came free, but Fausto da Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 93 minutes of play, Portugal's Daniel Pimentel made it 4-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fausto da Rocha was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Jan Bykowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. AFC - Curitiba's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan Bykowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilson Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
