In the 30th minute Toni Mauzer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lloyd Dingle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the game, Donny Clayton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Keepers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Croatia the free kick. Dinko Stankovic received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Lloyd Dingle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martin Bosak might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lloyd Dingle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Martin Bosak ran back to his position shaking his head. Damir Pongrac sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lloyd Dingle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damir Pongrac in the 46th minute of the match. After 48 played minutes Croatia got a freekick which was hit by Teo Gudelj. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ty Bond to strike the kick off in the second half. Ty Bond sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd minute, Croatia's Dinko Stankovic ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lloyd Dingle. Lloyd Dingle yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. A collision led to Keepers getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Steven Burnett hit a great ball. If Martin Bosak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damir Pongrac kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Lloyd Dingle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Toni Mauzer in the 82nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Damir Pongrac during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 86th match minute, Croatia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damir Pongrac to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martin Bosak in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lloyd Dingle prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
