Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Toni Mauzer got the match started through his kick off. James Shepherd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilija Skugor having to interfere. Toni Mauzer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lloyd Dingle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Bosak in the 7th minute of play. Damir Pongrac recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 17 played minutes Keepers got a freekick which was hit by Glyn May. Damir Pongrac hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Damir Pongrac sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 29 played minutes Keepers got a freekick which was hit by Jude Seagrave. Damir Pongrac struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Lloyd Dingle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Croatia. 33 minutes into the match, Keepers's goal looked a bit too open when Toni Mauzer came free, but Lloyd Dingle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martin Bosak scored 0-1 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lloyd Dingle, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Toni Mauzer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Croatia's supporters rose to their feet, but Toni Mauzer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lloyd Dingle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Donny Clayton kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. If Dinko Stankovic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute of the match Croatia got a corner. Keepers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Toni Mauzer ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Croatia's Toni Mauzer to fire away a dangerous shot which Lloyd Dingle despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Damir Pongrac sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Croatia were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ty Bond made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Froggatt in the 52nd minute of play forced Croatia's goalkeeper Ilija Skugor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teo Gudelj hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Bosak in the 60th minute of play forced Keepers's goalkeeper Lloyd Dingle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lloyd Dingle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dinko Stankovic in the 70th minute. Silvije Santek hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. James Shepherd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilija Skugor having to interfere. Damir Pongrac received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Lloyd Dingle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Keepers booed when Croatia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Domazet didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Keepers's Bart Bacon tried to score from far away in the 93rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.
