Qin Ting Peng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Qin Ting Peng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. The supporters of Stockholm IF booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Szekeres Tamas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stockholm IF's Hermengildo Dalmau got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After taking down the ball on Hungary's corner Antal Valentin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Qin Ting Peng quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 48th minute of play forced Stockholm IF's goalkeeper Qin Ting Peng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After 81 played minutes, Hungary's Antal Valentin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Qin Ting Peng came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hungary reached it. In the 90th minute, Verner Ståhlberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
