Germany's defense didn't have a chance, in the 5th minute, when Emanuel Hjelm scored to the left of an out of position Tommy Kahn, making the score, 2-0. Tommy Kahn was out of position in the 9 minute of play, and Emanuel Hjelm capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Emanuel Hjelm really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. The El Imperio del Cuervo fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when El Imperio del Cuervo's Emanuel Hjelm looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emanuel Hjelm in the 21st minute. In the 22ndth minute of the game Frank Sachs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Imperio del Cuervo's Remigio Petrigai was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emanuel Hjelm received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tommy Kahn came out and tried to block the shot, but Emanuel Hjelm slotted it home off the left post making it 6-0 in the 23rd minute. Emanuel Hjelm who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Tommy Kahn when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 32nd minute, Aldo Simancas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El Imperio del Cuervo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Emanuel Hjelm sped through Germany's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. 39 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Aldo Simancas came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When El Imperio del Cuervo's Emanuel Hjelm in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Chris Mergenthaler during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 72nd minute, Chris Mergenthaler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 73 minutes into the match, El Imperio del Cuervo's Leopoldo Otoniel broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Hjelm in the 76th minute of play. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldo Simancas in the 79th minute of play. After 85 played minutes El Imperio del Cuervo got a freekick which was hit by Ermegildo Perez. After 93 minutes, Frank Sachs mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Germany and the El Imperio del Cuervo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Frank Sachs kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. El Imperio del Cuervo had played much better football throughout.
