The coaching staff of Club Atletico Juanita protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Kostas Masaboukas had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Juanita's Kostas Masaboukas got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 17th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danijel Subašić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Club Atletico Juanita's Danijel Subašić got control of the ball when Wim Wilmes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Danijel Subašić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 76th minute of play. Lorenzo Loi who after having made a long run got a chance for a shot on goal. Despite a couple of nice moves Arnout Reekers's wasn't to be fooled and made an easy save when Lorenzo Loi was beeing forced to shoot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 84th minute of play forced Club Atletico Juanita's goalkeeper Danijel Subašić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th match minute, Club Atletico Juanita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Benet to maneuver through the defense. Edgardo Matteo hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Danijel Subašić. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
