In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Salmiyah Power's goalkeeper Boncho Vlúchkov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zaccheo Andolina blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Boncho Vlúchkov having to make a save. In the 12th minute, Zaccheo Andolina made a precise shot to the right of Boncho Vlúchkov. Salmiyah Power's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Boncho Vlúchkov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zaccheo Andolina went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doctor Quinn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the match, Salmiyah Power's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Boncho Vlúchkov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A well-hit corner resulted in Siricio Liotta heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After some careless play in the Salmiyah Power defense, Zaccheo Andolina kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Boncho Vlúchkov. The Salmiyah Power fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Boncho Vlúchkov should have stopped the shot. After 95 minutes of play, Salmiyah Power's Kacper Koperski made it 1-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Flavio Vittori was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Italy walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
