In the 5th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaston Gomez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isidro Lángara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidro Lángara in the 30th minute of play. After taking down the ball on Elite Azulgrana's corner Santiago Flores fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fodor Daniel quite easily take care of the ball. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Balazs Lajos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Balazs Lajos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaston Gomez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidro Lángara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Flores in the 51st minute of play. Gaston Gomez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Major Barna in the 54th minute. Elite Azulgrana's Gaston Gomez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Elite Azulgrana from getting a goal against them. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Gaston Gomez made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Gaston Gomez in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Rosario in the 65th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Takacs Tibor charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Takacs Tibor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 74th match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Takacs Tibor to maneuver through the defense. 78 minutes into the game, Santiago Flores cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Fodor Daniel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 82 minutes into the match, Elite Azulgrana's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Gaston Gomez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elite Azulgrana's Gaston Gomez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Takacs Tibor in the 84th minute of play. Gaston Gomez made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Major Barna sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Elite Azulgrana's Alfredo Carricaberry got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Major Barna received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gaston Gomez came out and tried to block the shot, but Major Barna slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 95th minute. When the final whistle sounded Hungary left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Elite Azulgrana.
