Boncho Vlúchkov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viriato Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 6th minute Doctor Quinn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Salmiyah Power's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Karim Bahari in the 9th minute. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kacper Koperski in the 12th minute of play. Boncho Vlúchkov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Barreto in the 16th minute of the match. If Felipe Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Barreto in the 20th minute of play forced Salmiyah Power's goalkeeper Boncho Vlúchkov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doctor Quinn, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 35 minutes into the game, Portugal's Felipe Barreto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Boncho Vlúchkov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 42nd minute, Graciano Coutinho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Boncho Vlúchkov was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. In the 46th minute, Felipe Barreto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After having played for 63 minutes, Doctor Quinn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salmiyah Power's supporters crossed their fingers, but Doctor Quinn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dawid Kochowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Amorim having to interfere. Salmiyah Power's Rabah Azem was substituted for Brahim Kerkar. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. Salmiyah Power's Noureddine Abdenouz was substituted for Jeremias Ganix. Salmiyah Power made a substitution. Mamaar Fergani replaced Dawid Kochowski. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doctor Quinn in the 71st minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Doctor Quinn made a precise shot to the right of Wilson Amorim. When Salmiyah Power's Mamaar Fergani in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Doctor Quinn took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-4. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Salmiyah Power had won after a very even match.
