Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Chris Nygaard started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Denmark's Olav Graversen got a free kick in the 9th minute. Santiago Flores hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the match, Elite Azulgrana's goal looked a bit too open when Bertram Svenningsen came free, but Gaston Gomez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gaston Gomez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Nygaard in the 17th minute of the match. Natalio Lekubegi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 21 minutes into the game, Mathias Ludvigsen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Denmark's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Elite Azulgrana the free kick. After 22 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Mathias Ludvigsen. After a rather tough play, Elite Azulgrana's José Fossa got a free kick in the 26th minute. Isidro Lángara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Keld Paulsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Elite Azulgrana's Jaime Casomiro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Keld Paulsen. Keld Paulsen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Through an outstanding action, after 54 minutes, Gaston Gomez successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 56th minute Jaime Casomiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Alfredo Carricaberry managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elite Azulgrana's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo Carricaberry was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Keld Paulsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Flores in the 61st minute of play. José Fossa got his second yellow card in the match during the 65th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. José Fossa kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Denmark's Chris Nygaard couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 67th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Elite Azulgrana. Aaron Demesio's late challenge caught a Denmark's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aaron Demesio helped the player get up and apologised. Aaron Demesio kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Gaston Gomez made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Bertram Svenningsen sent off a good shot on target. 81 minutes into the match, Elite Azulgrana's goal looked a bit too open when Bertram Svenningsen came free, but Gaston Gomez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Elite Azulgrana getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Santiago Flores hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 83rd minute of play forced Elite Azulgrana's goalkeeper Gaston Gomez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olav Graversen kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. When Elite Azulgrana's Santiago Flores in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Denmark's goalie prevented a goal. In the 90th minute, Denmark's Chris Nygaard dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. When Lars Steen fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Denmark's protests and gave Lars Steen a yellow card for diving instead.
