David Eikelkamp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kadri Erdemer having to interfere. 20 minutes into the game, Vahap Tatu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Arnout Reekers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Berkan Türel got free with Arnout Reekers in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 28th minute of the match Antakya♡HATAY got a corner. Netherlands's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Berkan Türel ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Berkan Türel got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Arnout Reekers quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 42 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mustafa Cumhur Humbaracıbaşı. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Vahap Tatu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 53rd minute, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kadri Erdemer. Kadri Erdemer yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. After 62 minutes Antakya♡HATAY's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. Vahdet Yağıztekin kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vahap Tatu in the 72nd minute of play. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Antakya♡HATAY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Haimar didn't get a good kick on the ball. 74 minutes into the game, Gustaaf Groeneveldt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Kadri Erdemer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gijsbert ter Kruimer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Kadri Erdemer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lars Meesters kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Kadri Erdemer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Netherlands's attentive Gust Ennemans managed to snatch the ball when Vahdet Yağıztekin made a throw-in in the 93rd minute of the game. Netherlands's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
