The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for NFH Family United. The goalkeeper, Amir Chee, was totally fooled by Izaltina FAD's Christiano Tavares, who 16 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. With a little luck, NFH Family United's Amir Chee got control of the ball when Gino de Lima tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Alex Chai left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The NFH Family United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 27th minute, Alex Chai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Izaltina FAD's Diguinho Mendonça got a free kick in the 28th minute. A collision led to Izaltina FAD getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Waldir Mendes hit a great ball. Izaltina FAD's Dráusio Oliveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sean Soon in the 34th minute of play. Dráusio Oliveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Chai, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Dráusio Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Chai in the 39th minute of play. After 46 played minutes Izaltina FAD got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Correia. Sajeev Mathews struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Dráusio Oliveira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NFH Family United. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gino de Lima made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sean Soon got free with Dráusio Oliveira in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 68th minute Sean Soon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dráusio Oliveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jaime Cabral kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Darren Namasivayam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rudy Tioe's late challenge caught a Izaltina FAD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rudy Tioe helped the player get up and apologised. After 75 played minutes NFH Family United got a freekick which was hit by Rudy Tioe. The audience cheered when Christiano Tavares's long shot passed Amir Chee's right side. It was 2-1, 76 minutes into the match. Izaltina FAD's Dráusio Oliveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Chai in the 80th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Ron Chian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Izaltina FAD getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Christiano Tavares hit a great ball. Darren Namasivayam took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dráusio Oliveira. Dráusio Oliveira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. NFH Family United were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
