The Nasals Más fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sébastien Marionneau should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinei Palmeira in the 17th minute of play forced Nasals Más's goalkeeper Sébastien Marionneau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led Izaltina FAD's Christiano Tavares to fire away a dangerous shot which Sébastien Marionneau despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 31st minute, Christiano Tavares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fernan Eate recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd minute José Vítor Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sébastien Marionneau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute, Luisito Lehen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and José Vítor Duarte made a kick off. Sébastien Marionneau came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Izaltina FAD's José Vítor Duarte. But to his dismay, José Vítor Duarte quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 70 played minutes Izaltina FAD got a freekick which was hit by Waldir Mendes. After a rather tough play, Izaltina FAD's Bernardinho de Senna got a free kick in the 75th minute. Nasals Más's Luisito Lehen couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 76th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Izaltina FAD. Dráusio Oliveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernan Eate in the 80th minute of the match. If José Vítor Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luisito Lehen, 91 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Rolando Hitzeder hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute, José Vítor Duarte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Izaltina FAD had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
