Fractal FC:s Bartosz Ziemniak showed great skill when he stopped Sebastián Villa:s penalty. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Rolando Misael sped through Cavaliers FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cornelio Villegas. Cornelio Villegas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernan Ler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Fractal FC's Gerardo Enmanuel got a free kick in the 17th minute. Cavaliers FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Teofilo Mikeldi in the 19th minute. A nice corner shot did that Teofilo Mikeldi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bartosz Ziemniak quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Sebastián Villa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bartosz Ziemniak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. The throw-in from Cristo Senon in the 26th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Cavaliers FC's Ambrosio Iratxo. In the 27th minute, Sebastián Villa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cavaliers FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 35th minute Fernan Ler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelio Villegas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute Fractal FC were awarded a corner. Leonides Jatsu went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Fractal FC's corner Cristo Senon fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cornelio Villegas quite easily take care of the ball. Gerardo Enmanuel hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Fractal FC's Bartosz Ziemniak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Fractal FC from getting a goal against them. In the 47th minute, Cavaliers FC's Sebastián Villa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bartosz Ziemniak. Bartosz Ziemniak yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Rolando Misael's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 69thth minute, Cornelio Villegas skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a little luck, Cavaliers FC's Cornelio Villegas got control of the ball when Fernan Ler tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Sebastián Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cavaliers FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastián Villa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bartosz Ziemniak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fractal FC made a substitution. Ramiro Montae replaced Pedro Odon. Severo Tohias hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Cavaliers FC made a substitution. Marcos Arano replaced Ambrosio Iratxo. In the 83rd minute Sebastián Villa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartosz Ziemniak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bartosz Ziemniak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastián Villa in the 89th minute of play.
