The supporters of Kanalla F.C booed when ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genaro Mercurio didn't get a good kick on the ball. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Uriel Chorche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Szymon Wachna in the 25th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Constantino Quinton kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving 高洲泉. That made the score 1-1 in the 32 minute of play. 39 minutes into the game, Kanalla F.C's Szymon Wachna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Uriel Chorche made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Aristides Asteri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. 高洲泉 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kanalla F.C were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and André Monclús made a kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goalkeeper Uriel Chorche, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Kanalla F.C's Szymon Wachna slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Uriel Chorche. That made the score 1-3 after 58 minutes of play. Isidro Asur's late challenge caught a Kanalla F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isidro Asur helped the player get up and apologised. Isidro Asur hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Kanalla F.C's Romulo Lluis was substituted for Szymon Wachna. 66 minutes had been played when some careless play by ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marcelinho Carioca was slow to take the kick. During this time Kanalla F.C's players had a chance to rest. After a defensive mix-up in ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's zone, Romulo Lluis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Uriel Chorche came out of the goal and Romulo Lluis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Uriel Chorche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romulo Lluis in the 82nd minute of play. In the 84th minute, Guido Carrillo made a precise shot to the right of 高洲泉. Kanalla F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. 88 minutes into the match, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goal looked a bit too open when Romulo Lluis came free, but Uriel Chorche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st match minute, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genaro Mercurio to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute, Isidro Asur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
