Despite this Gabriel Ascaso quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Gabriel Ascaso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pane Boze, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Toledo in the 8th minute of play forced JuSi Malacky's goalkeeper Kaapo Velikiy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alan Shearer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Ascaso having to interfere. Kaapo Velikiy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Aranda, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Adam Pinka hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Adria Bielsa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kaapo Velikiy having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pane Boze got free with Gabriel Ascaso in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pane Boze received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gabriel Ascaso came out and tried to block the shot, but Pane Boze slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 31st minute. Kaapo Velikiy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adria Bielsa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Spain booed when JuSi Malacky was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Pinka didn't get a good kick on the ball. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by JuSi Malacky's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Omar Toledo was slow to take the kick. During this time Spain's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of JuSi Malacky's goalie and right to Vicente Merino. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. JuSi Malacky's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Gabriel Ascaso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alan Shearer, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Omar Toledo to strike the kick off in the second half. JuSi Malacky's Kaapo Velikiy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adria Bielsa in the 57th minute of play. In the 65th minute Adria Bielsa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaapo Velikiy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabriel Ascaso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pane Boze, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the game, Omar Toledo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kaapo Velikiy. Omar Toledo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. JuSi Malacky made a substitution. Dušan Chmelík replaced Buba Huba. Gabriel Ascaso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ant Man in the 79th minute of play. Spain's Sergio Ruiz was substituted for Adria Bielsa. Spain made a substitution. Pau Herrero replaced David Aranda. Ant Man recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matias Ferrandis during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Spain's Gabriel Ascaso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ant Man in the 88th minute of play. Gabriel Ascaso came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by JuSi Malacky's Rafa Furman. But to his dismay, Rafa Furman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Kaapo Velikiy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sergio Ruiz's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. If Alan Shearer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. JuSi Malacky were victorious despite being under pressure from Spain for much of the match.
