Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by spartak's Emre Güneş. But to his dismay, Emre Güneş quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Emre Güneş might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tommy Kahn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emre Güneş ran back to his position shaking his head. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Raido Tuus sent off a good shot on target. Raido Tuus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Berker Demirbaş took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Tommy Kahn to make any attempt to save it. 34 minutes into the match, spartak's Emre Güneş sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Frank Sachs might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Caner Yaltıray. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Sachs ran back to his position shaking his head. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

51 minutes into the game, spartak's Berker Demirbaş nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Caner Yaltıray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albin Holweck in the 54th minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Batu Cem Tuygun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albin Holweck to maneuver through the defense. Frank Sachs in the 61stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Caner Yaltıray, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a defensive mix-up in spartak's zone, Frank Sachs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Caner Yaltıray came out of the goal and Frank Sachs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind spartak's goalkeeper Caner Yaltıray, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Germany's Frank Sachs got a free kick in the 67th minute. A collision led to spartak getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Zülfü Ayberk hit a great ball. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Germany's Caner Yaltıray threw himself towards the right post 75 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Albin Holweck, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great ball. Frank Sachs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Caner Yaltıray having to make a save. In the 80th minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caner Yaltıray saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the game, Emre Güneş was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. spartak's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Germany the free kick. After 81 played minutes spartak got a freekick which was hit by Emre Güneş. 85 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Raido Tuus came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frank Sachs received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Caner Yaltıray came out and tried to block the shot, but Frank Sachs slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 86th minute. In the 91st minute, Albin Holweck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. spartak had played much better football throughout.
