Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. Cristobal Belarmo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Tommy Kahn when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cristobal Belarmo did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Tommy Kahn 8 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristobal Belarmo in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andre Van Poucke in the 15th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Albin Holweck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 18 in the game by Cristobal Belarmo from a close distance when the talented Tommy Kahn managed to make a qualified save. Germany's players were relieved. With his leg Tommy Kahn managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when C.A.I Somos Nosotros's Cristobal Belarmo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Fabio Erruki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frank Sachs's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristobal Belarmo got free with Tommy Kahn in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. C.A.I Somos Nosotros's Fabio Erruki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 36th minute of play. A collision led to C.A.I Somos Nosotros getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Andre Van Poucke hit a great ball. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Roque Iturri sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Celso Vistruario tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Germany's Adrian Dreifuss got a free kick in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Sachs was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Sven Krakouer hit a great ball. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristobal Belarmo's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. The supporters of Germany booed when C.A.I Somos Nosotros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Savier didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 60 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Frank Sachs. When the match clock showed 64 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Cristobal Belarmo sped through Germany's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. 73 minutes into the match, C.A.I Somos Nosotros's Cristobal Belarmo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Germany's Frank Sachs got a free kick in the 81st minute. The C.A.I Somos Nosotros fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when C.A.I Somos Nosotros's Cristobal Belarmo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristobal Belarmo in the 91st minute of play. Frank Sachs struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Fabio Erruki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Germany.
