With his leg Tommy Kahn managed to avoid a goal in the 3rdth minute, when MAZER SAF's Dudu Berger fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dudu Berger in the 5th minute. Beraldo Soberano charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Beraldo Soberano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 7th match minute, MAZER SAF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beraldo Soberano to maneuver through the defense. MAZER SAF's Adriano Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albin Holweck in the 16th minute of play. Frank Sachs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, MAZER SAF's Amadeu Senna got a free kick in the 21st minute. 26 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rômulo Amaral. A hard shot 37 in the game by Dudu Berger from a close distance when the talented Tommy Kahn managed to make a qualified save. Germany's players were relieved. Tommy Kahn didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 40th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joélson Coutinho in the 45th minute of play. When the match clock showed 47 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Dudu Berger sped through Germany's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Sachs was the one to do the kick off. Rodrigo Garro took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 71st minute of the match Beraldo Soberano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tommy Kahn skillfully saved the ball. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodrigo Garro's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Germany's Janik Vogt quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Amadeu Senna, made in the 77th minute of the game. 84 minutes into the game, MAZER SAF's Dudu Berger nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Rodrigo Garro's late challenge caught a Germany's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rodrigo Garro helped the player get up and apologised. MAZER SAF's Adriano Carneiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save MAZER SAF from getting a goal against them. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adriano Carneiro having to interfere.
