In the 24th match minute, Leeds United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Kvist to maneuver through the defense. After 28 minutes of play Slovakia's Vít Biskup was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Leeds United FC booed when Slovakia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vít Biskup didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Metod Mlynar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Leeds United FC's Elliott Levander got control of the ball when Oliver Holub tried to sneak it across the goal line. Henrich Slany made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Kvist in the 89th minute of play. The Slovakia players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Leeds United FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
