The throw-in from Dino Rowe in the 10th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Les Pionniers de Touraine's Gyuro Tzonkin. Loramendi Valdivia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abraham Beauval's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Les Pionniers de Touraine's Abraham Beauval sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Loramendi Valdivia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Loramendi Valdivia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abraham Beauval in the 16th minute of the match. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Azzurri FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gyuro Tzonkin was slow to take the kick. During this time Les Pionniers de Touraine's players had a chance to rest. Azzurri FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gyuro Tzonkin ran over to the corner to take the kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karl Kubler in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Loramendi Valdivia saved Azzurri FC from getting behind. The Les Pionniers de Touraine fans' excitement grew in the 94th match minute when Les Pionniers de Touraine's Karl Kubler looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 99th minute of the match Les Pionniers de Touraine got a corner.
