The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Halkali JK's Allard Borgman got control of the ball when Dário Mangueira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Umberto de Souza received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Allard Borgman came out and tried to block the shot, but Umberto de Souza slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 7th minute. 11 minutes into the game, Vito Veloso recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Allard Borgman. Vito Veloso showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Dário Mangueira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Allard Borgman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Allard Borgman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vito Veloso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Allard Borgman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vito Veloso in the 17th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, São Salvador's Umberto de Souza dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. After a rather tough play, São Salvador's Manos Naskos got a free kick in the 24th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dário Mangueira got free with Allard Borgman in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 29th minute São Salvador were awarded a corner. Rafel Domao went to the cornerflag to take it. 34 minutes into the match, Vito Veloso dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Allard Borgman, 4-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Umberto de Souza got free with Allard Borgman in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 44th minute, São Salvador's Umberto de Souza dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rıfkı Neyzen to make the kick off. Allard Borgman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Umberto de Souza in the 52nd minute of the match. 52 minutes into the match, Halkali JK's goal looked a bit too open when Umberto de Souza came free, but Allard Borgman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Umberto de Souza in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Allard Borgman saved Halkali JK from getting behind. In the 58th minute Jasmin Jambrešić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allard Borgman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Allard Borgman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jasmin Jambrešić in the 58th minute of play. In the 79thth minute of the game Vito Veloso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Halkali JK's Allard Borgman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zé Pedro Dias hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Allard Borgman came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by São Salvador's Jasmin Jambrešić. But to his dismay, Jasmin Jambrešić quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. São Salvador had won after a very even match.
