In the 10th match minute, Flores Arlt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Fertus to maneuver through the defense. Efrain Guillem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torres Begal, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Marcial Ourente could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Sandro Palomares made a huge save. In the 19th minute Marcial Ourente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandro Palomares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Marcial Ourente came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Flores Arlt fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcial Ourente couldn't finish the play. Flores Arlt's Gerardo Bedoya was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sandro Palomares in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 26th minute Marcial Ourente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandro Palomares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the game, Edelmiro Osmundo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Sandro Palomares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sandro Palomares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcial Ourente in the 39th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Flores Arlt's goal looked a bit too open when Angel Mena came free, but Efrain Guillem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd match minute, Flores Arlt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guaberto Henry to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Angel Mena's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Efrain Guillem was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. When Marcial Ourente fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Flores Arlt's protests and gave Marcial Ourente a yellow card for diving instead. Marcial Ourente kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. In the 47th match minute, West Town SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis-Antonio Bolantin to maneuver through the defense.

With a little luck, Flores Arlt's Efrain Guillem got control of the ball when Angel Mena tried to sneak it across the goal line. Efrain Guillem made an important save on a dangerous shot by Douglas Costa in the 56th minute. Sandro Palomares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcial Ourente in the 58th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angel Mena in the 60th minute of play forced Flores Arlt's goalkeeper Efrain Guillem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. West Town SC's Angel Mena came free and shot a quick shot against goal 60 minutes in the game, fortunately Efrain Guillem had problems saving as it came toward the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angel Mena in the 61st minute of play forced Flores Arlt's goalkeeper Efrain Guillem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flores Arlt's Efrain Guillem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torres Begal in the 63rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Marcial Ourente managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flores Arlt's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcial Ourente was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sandro Palomares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, West Town SC's Luis-Antonio Bolantin got a free kick in the 69th minute. A throw-in in the 74th minute of the game was made by Simon Fertus with Sabin Răchită as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Torres Begal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Efrain Guillem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Torres Begal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Efrain Guillem read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. The throw-in from Simon Fertus in the 88th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by West Town SC's Frutos Rojas. Flores Arlt's Efrain Guillem proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Flores Arlt from getting a goal against them. 94 minutes into the game, Flores Arlt's Sabin Răchită nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sandro Palomares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0.
