In the 4th match minute, Gaviotas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inocencio Patxi to maneuver through the defense. Manolis Ntouvaris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabiano Di Vincenzo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Botasso kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Carlos Goyeneta was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristian Botasso showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. In the 14th minute, Kleon Sgouros made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Goyeneta. Gaviotas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. If Carlos Fernando Abraão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute, Inocencio Patxi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gaviotas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 28th minute Geronimo Berenguer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manolis Ntouvaris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute, Soulis Felegakis fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Drafi's Manolis Ntouvaris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geronimo Berenguer in the 31st minute of play. Manolis Ntouvaris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabiano Di Vincenzo in the 34th minute of play. Cristian Botasso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgard Elssen kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Gaviotas FC's Fabiano Di Vincenzo got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Carlos Goyeneta managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when Drafi's Cristian Botasso fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Wilfredo Otsoa lost his temper 45 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 45th minute, one of Gaviotas FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gaviotas FC. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristian Botasso to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Botasso in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Goyeneta saved Gaviotas FC from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Cristian Botasso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Goyeneta was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. 55 minutes into the match, Drafi's goal looked a bit too open when Geronimo Berenguer came free, but Manolis Ntouvaris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Goyeneta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Soulis Felegakis in the 65th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Taco Huizinga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gaviotas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Taco Huizinga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manolis Ntouvaris breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gaviotas FC's Clemente Claude was substituted for Geronimo Berenguer. Drafi's Giannis Karagiotis was substituted for Carlos Fernando Abraão. Drafi made a substitution. Lambis Vrinios replaced Claudio Busillo. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ariel Henry got free with Manolis Ntouvaris in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Drafi's Chatziioannou Stavrakos in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Drafi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. The audience was convinced that Chatziioannou Stavrakos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Goyeneta was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chatziioannou Stavrakos in the 92nd minute of play forced Gaviotas FC's goalkeeper Carlos Goyeneta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel.
