But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alex Elenescu couldn't finish the play. Alex Elenescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Durval Liberato. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alex Elenescu ran back to his position shaking his head. Durval Liberato made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Alex Elenescu sent off a good shot on target. Juvenal Madureira kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Leça da Palmeira F.C fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 9th minute. Penalty! Marcos Marcos shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After some careless play in the Leça da Palmeira F.C defense, Alex Elenescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Durval Liberato. The Leça da Palmeira F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Durval Liberato should have stopped the shot. Durval Liberato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Elenescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 24 minutes into the game, TiGrEs Fx's Alex Elenescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Alex Elenescu took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Durval Liberato to make any attempt to save it. 36 minutes into the match, Leça da Palmeira F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Elenescu came free, but Durval Liberato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. TiGrEs Fx were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Leça da Palmeira F.C's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marcos Marcos took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Joaquim Matute managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The crowd rose to their feet as Alex Elenescu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Durval Liberato. That made the score 4-0 in the 43 minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Alex Elenescu notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Leça da Palmeira F.C's Durval Liberato. Durval Liberato was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alex Elenescu made a kick off. Alex Elenescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Durval Liberato. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. TiGrEs Fx's attentive Edgard Estevez managed to snatch the ball when Salvador Nogueira made a throw-in in the 67th minute of the game. Durval Liberato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Rancaño in the 69th minute of the match. A collision led to TiGrEs Fx getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Gilberto Rancaño hit a great ball. The supporters of TiGrEs Fx booed when Leça da Palmeira F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Regalado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Durval Liberato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Marcos in the 75th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Gilberto Rancaño's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Durval Liberato was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Franc Merlot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matías Vianna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. TiGrEs Fx's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
