In the 3rd minute of the match, Zeferino Ramos tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tony Ekgren saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Stig-Ove Blom took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Durval Liberato. Durval Liberato dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. With a little luck, Skogås FF's Tony Ekgren got control of the ball when Vladimiro Matias tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 10 played minutes Skogås FF got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Erik Fernkvist. Mikael Ljungberg's late challenge caught a Leça da Palmeira F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mikael Ljungberg helped the player get up and apologised. Tony Ekgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladimiro Matias in the 11th minute of play. Tony Ekgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alcides Gomes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 20 minutes of play, Skogås FF's Elliot Åkesson made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Durval Liberato was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimiro Matias in the 22nd minute of play forced Skogås FF's goalkeeper Tony Ekgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Skogås FF's Mikael Ljungberg got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Leça da Palmeira F.C's Durval Liberato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Apelquist in the 27th minute of play. After 28 played minutes Skogås FF got a freekick which was hit by Hannes Kling. Tony Ekgren made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Vladimiro Matias sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Matías Vianna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leça da Palmeira F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Matías Vianna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tony Ekgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 34 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Skogås FF! In the 36th minute of the game, Leça da Palmeira F.C got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. In the 40th minute Edvin Dahlberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Durval Liberato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Apelquist in the 44th minute of play forced Leça da Palmeira F.C's goalkeeper Durval Liberato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 46 minutes, Harry Bure mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Skogås FF and the Leça da Palmeira F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card.

Skogås FF made a substitution. Marcus Deckbergh replaced Mikael Ljungberg. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andreas Apelquist made a kick off. Leça da Palmeira F.C's Durval Liberato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Apelquist in the 53rd minute of play. Durval Liberato made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andreas Apelquist in the 60th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Skogås FF's goal looked a bit too open when Matías Vianna came free, but Tony Ekgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Leça da Palmeira F.C supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Skogås FF's performance. The match ended with a win for Skogås FF.
