With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ovidio Enaut prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 6th minute, Cimarrones F.C.'s Darwin Torres ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ovidio Enaut. Ovidio Enaut yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 9 minutes into the match, Shanghái 1992 足球俱乐部's goalkeeper Ovidio Enaut had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Darwin Torres. A collision led to Cimarrones F.C. getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Demetrio Giacchetti hit a great ball. In the 13th minute of the match Edelmiro Raitin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Themba Takane showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ovidio Enaut made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Darwin Torres sent off a good shot on target. Cimarrones F.C.'s Brecht Dheedene got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Brecht Dheedene had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ovidio Enaut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brecht Dheedene in the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th minute Cimarrones F.C. were awarded a corner. Zuzen Aldeco went to the cornerflag to take it. Ovidio Enaut showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brecht Dheedene, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Brecht Dheedene recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 46th minute, Darwin Torres ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ovidio Enaut was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brecht Dheedene was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Demetrio Giacchetti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Enaut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Themba Takane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Ayala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brecht Dheedene in the 55th minute of play forced Shanghái 1992 足球俱乐部's goalkeeper Ovidio Enaut to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute Brecht Dheedene shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Enaut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aaron Hamberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Themba Takane made a huge save. After having played for 88 minutes, Brecht Dheedene managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cimarrones F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Brecht Dheedene was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ovidio Enaut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zuzen Aldeco in the 93rd minute of play. After 94 minutes, Ubarna Donallo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cimarrones F.C. and the Shanghái 1992 足球俱乐部 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Shanghái 1992 足球俱乐部's Bernardo Sengrat was substituted for Julian Cisco. In the 95th minute, Ubarna Donallo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute, Rutenio Respaldizar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, Cimarrones F.C. could leave the field as winners, despite Shanghái 1992 足球俱乐部 having more of the ball for most of the match.
