Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias Cordario having to interfere. In the 18th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Cordario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lars Meesters blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jeremias Cordario having to make a save. Danilo Olayo hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 28 minutes into the match, Arquímedes's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Jeremias Cordario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a precise shot to the right of Jeremias Cordario. Arquímedes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Arnout Reekers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arquímedes. Fernando Nabar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnout Reekers having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arquímedes Ladio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jeremias Cordario made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 54th minute. In the 56th match minute, Arquímedes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xove Castrejana to maneuver through the defense. 61 minutes into the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jeremias Cordario, 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramon Abila in the 65th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mathijn Doctor hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Mathijn Doctor got a free kick in the 69th minute. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramon Abila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arquímedes's Xove Castrejana managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gust Ennemans in the 73 minute of the game. Jeremias Cordario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 75th minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Arquímedes's Jeremias Cordario. Jeremias Cordario was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Wim Wilmes came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wim Wilmes couldn't finish the play. Gust Ennemans made in the 80th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Arquímedes's Xove Castrejana. In the 80th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Eikelkamp to maneuver through the defense. 82 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jeremias Cordario made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. Arquímedes's Xove Castrejana managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gust Ennemans in the 85 minute of the game. Arquímedes's Jeremias Cordario proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Arquímedes from getting a goal against them. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Nabar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Netherlands's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
