Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Antal Valentin got the match started through his kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Politehnica Iasi's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Emilian Feteanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorginho Queiroz in the 11th minute of play. The supporters of Politehnica Iasi booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Katona Janos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fodor Daniel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan Trzenzalski's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute Politehnica Iasi were awarded a corner. David Cărtărescu went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that David Cărtărescu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fodor Daniel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Hungary's Fodor Daniel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Hungary from getting a goal against them. After 22 minutes Hungary's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was David Cărtărescu who took care of the corner kick. Emilian Feteanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 30th minute of the match. A collision led to Politehnica Iasi getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Jorginho Queiroz hit a great ball. Hungary's Fodor Daniel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Hungary from getting a goal against them. 36 minutes into the game, Politehnica Iasi's Jorginho Queiroz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fodor Daniel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Katona Janos hit a great ball. Politehnica Iasi's David Cărtărescu got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jorginho Queiroz was the one to do the kick off. Katona Janos kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. The Politehnica Iasi fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Politehnica Iasi's Jorginho Queiroz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 56 minutes into the match, Politehnica Iasi's goalkeeper Emilian Feteanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hegedus Henrik. Major Barna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emilian Feteanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antal Valentin in the 59th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Trzenzalski came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tiberiu Dulgherescu hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Balazs Lajos got free with Emilian Feteanu in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 71 minutes into the match, Balazs Lajos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Emilian Feteanu, 2-1. 74 minutes into the game, Hegedus Henrik recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Emilian Feteanu. Hegedus Henrik showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Jorginho Queiroz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. Major Barna received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Emilian Feteanu came out and tried to block the shot, but Major Barna slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 83rd minute. Major Barna took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emilian Feteanu. Emilian Feteanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiberiu Dulgherescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Politehnica Iasi fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hungary were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
