With a little luck, Hungary's Fodor Daniel got control of the ball when Emil Akkerman tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the FC Kirchroa defense, Takacs Tibor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matthijs Meerdink. The FC Kirchroa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matthijs Meerdink should have stopped the shot. Matthijs Meerdink stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antal Valentin's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antal Valentin couldn't finish the play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Flavius Pantea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dante Martinelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Hungary were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
