The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When KKP Spasione Kocury's Andrzej Gabis in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lech Rosen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the game's 10th minute Hungary's Antal Valentin took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Lech Rosen and thus the score was 0-1. Rafal Duda's late challenge caught a Hungary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rafal Duda helped the player get up and apologised. After 15 played minutes KKP Spasione Kocury got a freekick which was hit by Rafal Duda. Lech Rosen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 15th minute of play. Hungary's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Juliusz Fink scored to the left of an out of position Fodor Daniel, making the score, 1-2. Grzegorz Fabiszak hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lech Rosen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, KKP Spasione Kocury's Fodor Daniel threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Andrzej Gabis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 32 minutes into the match, KKP Spasione Kocury's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Lech Rosen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Andrzej Gabis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrzej Gabis in the 37th minute of play. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juliusz Fink in the 40th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Major Barna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lech Rosen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 44th minute Andrzej Gabis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. KKP Spasione Kocury's Lech Rosen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 46th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andrzej Gabis to strike the kick off in the second half. Lech Rosen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Major Barna in the 55th minute. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lech Rosen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 74th minute. A nice corner shot did that Antal Valentin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lech Rosen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 75th match minute, KKP Spasione Kocury was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juliusz Fink to maneuver through the defense. After 76 minutes of play, Hungary's Balazs Lajos made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lech Rosen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Juliusz Fink fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Hungary's Lech Rosen threw himself towards the right post 87 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Takacs Tibor, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 88th match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antal Valentin to maneuver through the defense. 91 minutes into the match, Hungary's Antal Valentin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lech Rosen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. KKP Spasione Kocury's Lech Rosen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save KKP Spasione Kocury from getting a goal against them. When the match was over Hungary could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than KKP Spasione Kocury throughout the match.
