In the 6th minute, 余风笑 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 董岩沙 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fletcher Main, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexander Higgins made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when 崔峰勇 sent off a good shot on target. In the 18th minute, 辽宁锦州食豆人联队's 姚夕默 ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alexander Higgins. Alexander Higgins yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when 崔峰勇 got free with Alexander Higgins in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alexander Higgins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 温晨超, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, 辽宁锦州食豆人联队's 崔峰勇 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alexander Higgins narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 25 minutes, Ashton Nelson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Scotland and the 辽宁锦州食豆人联队 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Scotland's Ashton Nelson got a free kick in the 25th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by 温晨超 in the 27th minute of play forced Scotland's goalkeeper Alexander Higgins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute 温晨超 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Higgins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 董岩沙 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert McNeill in the 34th minute of play. 崔峰勇 came free with the goalkeeper in the 38th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Alexander Higgins could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by 温晨超 in the 40th minute of play forced Scotland's goalkeeper Alexander Higgins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 董岩沙 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fletcher Main in the 43rd minute of play. Scotland's Alexander Higgins proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Scotland from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when 崔峰勇 got free with Alexander Higgins in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Scotland's Alexander Higgins got control of the ball when 姚夕默 tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fletcher Main to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Scotland's goal looked a bit too open when 温晨超 came free, but Alexander Higgins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robert McNeill recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 60 minutes into the game, Robert McNeill was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Scotland's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 辽宁锦州食豆人联队 the free kick. The supporters of 辽宁锦州食豆人联队 booed when Scotland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert McNeill didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 64 played minutes Scotland got a freekick which was hit by Robert McNeill. After 70 played minutes Scotland got a freekick which was hit by Fletcher Main. 72 minutes into the game, 辽宁锦州食豆人联队's 崔峰勇 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alexander Higgins made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Scotland's Alexander Higgins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 楚崇岩 in the 76th minute of play. Kayden Ward kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. 温晨超 took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alexander Higgins. Alexander Higgins dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by 姚夕默 in the 87th minute of play forced Scotland's goalkeeper Alexander Higgins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fletcher Main recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Scotland's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
