Ferman Sıraç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Yavuzalp Mesut came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the The Last Airbender fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yavuzalp Mesut couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cemal Özgun in the 25th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Germany booed when The Last Airbender was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tim Van Brussel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 27 played minutes The Last Airbender got a freekick which was hit by Cemal Özgun. After a defensive mix-up in The Last Airbender's zone, Albin Holweck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raimond Aumann came out of the goal and Albin Holweck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Last Airbender's Yavuzalp Mesut got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cemal Özgun got free with Tommy Kahn in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 40 played minutes The Last Airbender got a freekick which was hit by Tim Van Brussel. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cemal Özgun in the 43rd minute of play. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Tamer Özbil sent off a good shot on target.

After 51 minutes of play, The Last Airbender's Yavuzalp Mesut made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cemal Özgun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yavuzalp Mesut in the 58th minute of play. Tim Van Brussel was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 62nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Cemal Özgun struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Last Airbender. 66 minutes into the match, The Last Airbender's goalkeeper Raimond Aumann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Sachs. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ömür Himmet, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 71st minute, Albin Holweck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 74th minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimond Aumann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikail Savgat in the 82nd minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Last Airbender's Raimond Aumann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save The Last Airbender from getting a goal against them. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. The Last Airbender fully deserved thier win.
