Felipe Barreto ran back to his position shaking his head. Skövde AIK's Karl-Erik Norström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Barreto in the 17th minute of play. Felipe Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Georg Norström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute Felipe Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Erik Norström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute Chen Ao Fan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Daniel Pimentel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Portugal booed when Skövde AIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Håkan Kruse didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karl-Erik Norström made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Caetano Moreira sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipe Barreto got free with Karl-Erik Norström in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 76th minute, Chen Ao Fan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilson Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodolfo Miranda got free with Karl-Erik Norström in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Karl-Erik Norström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipinho Amorim in the 83rd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the game, Caetano Moreira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Karl-Erik Norström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rodolfo Miranda kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Keegan, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
