Olli Schütz made in the 3rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Italy's Siricio Liotta. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Pietro in the 5th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Italy's zone, Cesar Nafarroa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flavio Vittori came out of the goal and Cesar Nafarroa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Olli Schütz made in the 30th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Leo Pietro. Musa Bardakçı could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Flavio Vittori made a huge save. The supporters of Italy booed when Freestylers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathias Abstreiter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christopher Röske made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Porziano Marchitelli in the 36th minute of play. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Pietro, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After 39 minutes, Björn Lachenicht mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Freestylers and the Italy players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 39th minute, Björn Lachenicht hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Italy getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Porziano Marchitelli hit a great ball. Freestylers's Cesar Nafarroa managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gianpaolo Mascari in the 45 minute of the game.

After 52 played minutes Italy got a freekick which was hit by Gomberto Picozzi. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Musa Bardakçı in the 54th minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Leo Pietro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 59 minutes into the match, Freestylers's goalkeeper Christopher Röske had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sigfrido Auletta. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sigfrido Auletta got free with Christopher Röske in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Pietro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Pietro came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Italy's Siricio Liotta managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Cesar Nafarroa in the 70 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 72nd minute of play forced Freestylers's goalkeeper Christopher Röske to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Italy's Gomberto Picozzi got a free kick in the 74th minute. Freestylers made a substitution. Jörn Montanus replaced Leo Pietro. In the 75th minute, Gomberto Picozzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olli Schütz in the 76th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Freestylers getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. German Evarado hit a great ball. Italy's Sigfrido Auletta has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 82nd minute. Italy's Sansone Vanella was substituted for Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy made a substitution. Adriano Curto replaced Zaccheo Andolina. Christopher Röske made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano Curto in the 88th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Porziano Marchitelli got free with Christopher Röske in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 92nd minute Italy were awarded a corner. Siricio Liotta went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 93rd minute, Umut Uluşahin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute, Siricio Liotta sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Freestylers's Christopher Röske didn't even have to move. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Italy had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
