Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Viriato Moura made the kick off and thus started the match. After 6 played minutes Petro Atlético got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Russo. Felipe Barreto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 7th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Daniel Gavin. Petro Atlético's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Osasun Palomino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Petro Atlético's supporters rose to their feet, but Osasun Palomino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilson Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Pimentel hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. The throw-in from Faustino Almeida in the 19th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Petro Atlético's Eric Staalhøj. 20 minutes into the match, Osasun Palomino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Osasun Palomino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Daniel Gavin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Barreto in the 24th minute of play. Szczepan Joks recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Felipe Barreto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniel Gavin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. In the 31st match minute, Portugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caetano Moreira to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Portugal's Wilson Amorim got control of the ball when Osasun Palomino tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 39 minutes Portugal's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eric Staalhøj who took care of the corner kick. Petro Atlético's Eric Staalhøj was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Wilson Amorim in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Daniel Gavin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Pimentel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilson Amorim was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Osasun Palomino capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Osasun Palomino really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. 48 minutes into the match, Petro Atlético's goal looked a bit too open when Caetano Moreira came free, but Daniel Gavin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Osasun Palomino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Viriato Moura in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Gavin saved Petro Atlético from getting behind. Felipe Barreto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Daniel Gavin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 65th minute Felipe Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Gavin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nuno Mendes struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Wilson Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Petro Atlético. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipe Barreto got free with Daniel Gavin in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Portugal made a substitution. Bartolomeu Dias replaced Viriato Moura. In the 71st minute, Edmund Maziarski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Gavin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolomeu Dias in the 87th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Portugal's Daniel Gavin threw himself towards the right post 90 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bartolomeu Dias, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Daniel Gavin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Pimentel in the 92nd minute of the match. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuno Mendes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Gavin made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Felipinho Amorim sent off a good shot on target. Felipinho Amorim came free with the goalkeeper in the 96th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Daniel Gavin could save by the left post.
