Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Italy's Zaccheo Andolina started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sigfrido Auletta in the 3rd minute of play forced MarquinhosEC's goalkeeper Zézinho Simões to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Italy's Sigfrido Auletta was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Zézinho Simões in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 6th minute, Sigfrido Auletta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zézinho Simões was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 9 minutes into the match, MarquinhosEC's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Zézinho Simões reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Italy's Eliseo Cutri got a free kick in the 10th minute. 0-2 became the score in the 18th minute when Zaccheo Andolina elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. A collision led to Italy getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Zena Busacca hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, MarquinhosEC's Flavio Vittori threw himself towards the right post 21 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Florin Susara, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. MarquinhosEC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Florin Susara in the 22nd minute. Inácio Freitas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Flavio Vittori having to make a save. Zaccheo Andolina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zézinho Simões read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zaccheo Andolina blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zézinho Simões having to make a save. In the 37th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zézinho Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zézinho Simões made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 38th minute of play. Italy's attentive Siricio Liotta managed to snatch the ball when Esteve Quinto made a throw-in in the 40th minute of the game. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Inácio Freitas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. MarquinhosEC's Zézinho Simões proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save MarquinhosEC from getting a goal against them. After having played for 60 minutes, Inácio Freitas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MarquinhosEC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inácio Freitas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 64 minutes in the game Esteve Quinto did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Esteve Quinto. With a little luck, MarquinhosEC's Zézinho Simões got control of the ball when Zaccheo Andolina tried to sneak it across the goal line. MarquinhosEC's Vágner Porto was substituted for Inácio Freitas. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Curt Montes, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Zézinho Simões made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Zaccheo Andolina sent off a good shot on target. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vágner Porto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vágner Porto in the 78th minute of play. Italy's Sansone Vanella was substituted for Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy's Adriano Curto was substituted for Zaccheo Andolina. In the 87th minute, Porziano Marchitelli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vágner Porto took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Flavio Vittori. Flavio Vittori dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adriano Curto in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zézinho Simões prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Italy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Siricio Liotta in the 95th minute. Zézinho Simões was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Porziano Marchitelli showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 96 minute of play. Italy played a much better game than MarquinhosEC and deserved their victory. The MarquinhosEC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
