In the 15th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Doğukan Artan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 22nd minute, Wim Wilmes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 25 minutes of play, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Doğukan Artan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doğukan Artan having to interfere. Alvise Nasuti scored 1-2 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnout Reekers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 46th minute Lars Meesters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doğukan Artan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

51 minutes into the match, Ezber Bozan FK's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Doğukan Artan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Ezber Bozan FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yıldırım Gürtuna didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 56th match minute, Ezber Bozan FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvise Nasuti to maneuver through the defense. Ezber Bozan FK made a substitution. Bahattin Pektürk replaced Alvise Nasuti. A collision led to Ezber Bozan FK getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Alvise Nasuti hit a great ball. 57 minutes into the match, Ezber Bozan FK's goalkeeper Doğukan Artan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wim Wilmes. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bahattin Pektürk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lars Meesters kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Ezber Bozan FK made a substitution. Domenik de Vos replaced Ünal Çelikkan. Lars Meesters kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After 69 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Lars Meesters. Doğukan Artan was a little too slow when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 1-3. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Doğukan Artan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Egbert Nijveldt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Muammer Humbaracıbaşı, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Doğukan Artan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 85 played minutes Ezber Bozan FK got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Goiano. Doğukan Artan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 88th minute of play. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Muammer Humbaracıbaşı in the 96th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Netherlands left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ezber Bozan FK.
