The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Clark Kent showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Clark Kent was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Edward Vanderstraeten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Dijoux in the 22nd minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alex Dijoux scored 1-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Casper Claes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 41 minutes into the game, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Clark Kent made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Clark Kent showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 46th minute of the match. After the first half Belgium were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 58th minute Edward Vanderstraeten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clark Kent saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guillaume Bonte kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Zorros del Desierto made a substitution. Quique Cordoba replaced Alex Dijoux. Guillaume Bonte hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quique Cordoba in the 63rd minute of play. When Zorros del Desierto's Quique Cordoba, in the 67th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Zorros del Desierto. After a rather tough play, Zorros del Desierto's Edward Okopny got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Edward Vanderstraeten might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Clark Kent. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edward Vanderstraeten ran back to his position shaking his head. Clark Kent made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 79th minute of play. Zorros del Desierto's Clark Kent played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 81st minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Guillaume Bonte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Quique Cordoba in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Casper Claes saved Belgium from getting behind. 95 minutes into the match, Zorros del Desierto's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but Clark Kent reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
