Büyükada Commandos's Junior Messi got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 10th minute, Albin Holweck left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Germany fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a rather tough play, Büyükada Commandos's Junior Messi got a free kick in the 18th minute. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Junior Messi, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 23rd match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chris Mergenthaler to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute Junior Messi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aris Mitrou made in the 29th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Anıl Cenk Eskicioğlu. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cenk Dündar's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cenk Dündar in the 32nd minute. 34 minutes into the match, Luiz Guilherme Gaspar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luiz Guilherme Gaspar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. With his leg Tommy Kahn managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when Büyükada Commandos's Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 38 minutes into the game, Bineesh Seng was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Büyükada Commandos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Germany the free kick. After 38 played minutes Büyükada Commandos got a freekick which was hit by Bineesh Seng. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luiz Guilherme Gaspar got free with Tommy Kahn in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Germany's Janik Vogt got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Luiz Guilherme Gaspar came free with the goalkeeper in the 46th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tommy Kahn could save by the left post.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frank Sachs made a kick off. Bineesh Seng kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 59th minute Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink in the 65th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Germany's Frank Sachs sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alperen Bozkurt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Junior Messi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 74 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Albin Holweck. Büyükada Commandos's Luiz Guilherme Gaspar managed to work through Germany's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Luiz Guilherme Gaspar dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Guilherme Gaspar in the 84th minute of play. Bineesh Seng kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Germany's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
