Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) In the 4th minute Vital Jarh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. 7 minutes into the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Milky Way's Klemen Mikuž. Klemen Mikuž was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 10 played minutes Milky Way got a freekick which was hit by Svit Tavčer. Klemen Mikuž showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ludvik Anclin in the 13th minute of the match. Arnout Reekers was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ludvik Anclin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 13 minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agnaldo Ramalho. 20 minutes into the match, Milky Way's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Klemen Mikuž reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Milky Way's Klemen Mikuž played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Meesters in the 23rd minute of play. Klemen Mikuž came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Lars Meesters. But to his dismay, Lars Meesters quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 32 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Ludvik Anclin came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agnaldo Ramalho got free with Arnout Reekers in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 35th minute of the match, Ludvik Anclin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Arnout Reekers saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 37th minute of play forced Milky Way's goalkeeper Klemen Mikuž to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Klemen Mikuž saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agnaldo Ramalho in the 40th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ludvik Anclin in the 42nd minute of the match. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Zija Pleteršek sent off a good shot on target. 46 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zija Pleteršek. The Milky Way players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Netherlands were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Agnaldo Ramalho to make the kick off. After 58 minutes Milky Way's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Netherlands's Wim Wilmes to fire away a dangerous shot which Klemen Mikuž despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 59th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Meesters to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Milky Way's zone, Gustaaf Groeneveldt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Klemen Mikuž came out of the goal and Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Milky Way's Armin Gradin was substituted for Todor Tršek. The Netherlands fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice moves Gustaaf Groeneveldt could shoot a difficult shot in the 80th minute, which Klemen Mikuž however easily saved by the left post. Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free with the goalkeeper in the 82nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Klemen Mikuž could save by the left post. After having played for 85 minutes, Wim Wilmes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wim Wilmes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 90th minute of the match Milky Way got a corner. Netherlands's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ben Koeling ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ben Koeling made a great header on Milky Way's corner, it was just that Netherlands's Arnout Reekers managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Mathijn Doctor got a free kick in the 91st minute. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zija Pleteršek in the 93rd minute of play. In the 95th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post.
