Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Zaccheo Andolina took the kick off in the first half of the match. The throw-in from Carl Beach in the 3rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Italy's Siricio Liotta. If Siricio Liotta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute, Porziano Marchitelli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gong Ying Zheng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 16th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zaccheo Andolina in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gong Ying Zheng saved VC zoetwater from getting behind. In the 20th minute, Robert Wells hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute, Zaccheo Andolina made a precise shot to the right of Gong Ying Zheng. VC zoetwater's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 32 minutes into the match, VC zoetwater's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Gong Ying Zheng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carl Beach made in the 34th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Italy's Siricio Liotta. A collision led to VC zoetwater getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Anthony Dumont hit a great ball. After 37 minutes of play, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gong Ying Zheng was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Zaccheo Andolina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Italy's supporters rose to their feet, but Zaccheo Andolina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gong Ying Zheng breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 44th match minute, VC zoetwater was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Wells to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 47 in the game by Anthony Dumont from a close distance when the talented Flavio Vittori managed to make a qualified save. Italy's players were relieved. Flavio Vittori stood somewhat misplaced when Anthony Dumont came free in front of goal and shot 1-3 to the left of him in the 48 minute. After the first half Italy were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Gong Ying Zheng made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 53rd minute. 54 minutes into the match, VC zoetwater's goalkeeper Gong Ying Zheng had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Porziano Marchitelli. 56 minutes into the game, Carl Beach was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. VC zoetwater's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Italy the free kick. Italy made a substitution. Guiscardo Davide replaced Gianpaolo Mascari. Carl Beach kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Zaccheo Andolina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Gong Ying Zheng made a huge save. With his leg Gong Ying Zheng managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when Italy's Zaccheo Andolina fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 64th minute, Deodato Magliozzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Armand De Hoef kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Italy's Gong Ying Zheng threw himself towards the right post 74 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zaccheo Andolina, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 77th minute, Gusztáv Bács hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Siricio Liotta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind VC zoetwater's goalkeeper Gong Ying Zheng, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After taking down the ball on Italy's corner Sigfrido Auletta fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gong Ying Zheng quite easily take care of the ball. Gong Ying Zheng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 85th minute of the match. Carl Beach got a throw-in 90 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Anthony Dumont. Zena Busacca hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. In the 97th minute, Gusztáv Bács hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Italy supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Italy would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
