Mauricio Manuelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 8th match minute, Talleres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldo Gonza to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 12 minutes, Albin Holweck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albin Holweck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 14th minute, Sven Krakouer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mauricio Manuelo went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Mauricio Manuelo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mauricio Manuelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Talleres booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malte Schiele didn't get a good kick on the ball. Perico Pérez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tommy Kahn. Germany's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Fedele Talamo hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Talleres fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 43rd minute. Penalty! Cecilio Lastur had in the 45thth minute some difficulties stopping Frank Sachs's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Alfredo Tab received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Talleres's Izydor Bugajski was substituted for Perico Pérez. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mauricio Manuelo to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Mauricio Manuelo put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tommy Kahn. 58 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Mauricio Manuelo came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Josef Tunberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauricio Manuelo in the 69th minute of play. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Tab, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josef Tunberg in the 73rd minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute Alfredo Tab shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 77th play minutes Mauricio Manuelo shot 6-0, a short shot which went by Tommy Kahn and just under the crossbar into goal. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mauricio Manuelo's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauricio Manuelo in the 81st minute of play. In the 84th minute, Mauricio Manuelo made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Mauricio Manuelo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. If Alfredo Tab had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adrian Dreifuss kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Alfredo Tab sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 97 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Tab came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 97 minutes into the game, Alfredo Tab cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There was no doubt that Talleres were the better team. Talleres's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
