Örjan Björk started the match with the kick off. Wiktor Ekström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 3rd minute of the match. Wiktor Ekström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After 10 played minutes Italy got a freekick which was hit by Deodato Magliozzi. Siricio Liotta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wiktor Ekström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zena Busacca made in the 25th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Porziano Marchitelli immediately put the ball in play. Siricio Liotta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Wiktor Ekström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zaccheo Andolina took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wiktor Ekström. Wiktor Ekström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Porziano Marchitelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wiktor Ekström having to interfere. After some careless play in the Åsbro Flåsegutter defense, Zaccheo Andolina kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wiktor Ekström. The Åsbro Flåsegutter fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wiktor Ekström should have stopped the shot. Italy's Flavio Vittori proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Italy from getting a goal against them. 43 minutes into the match, Åsbro Flåsegutter's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Wiktor Ekström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wiktor Ekström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zaccheo Andolina stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Wiktor Ekström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Siricio Liotta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wiktor Ekström having to interfere. Petri Romeu made in the 58th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Italy's Siricio Liotta. Italy's Eliseo Cutri managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Júlio Castro in the 62 minute of the game. Wiktor Ekström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 64th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Italy's Zaccheo Andolina slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Wiktor Ekström. That made the score 0-4 after 66 minutes of play. Åsbro Flåsegutter's Wiktor Ekström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Åsbro Flåsegutter from getting a goal against them. Wiktor Ekström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sigfrido Auletta in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 75th minute Zdzislaw Barniszke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zaccheo Andolina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wiktor Ekström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. If Zaccheo Andolina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Åsbro Flåsegutter's Wiktor Ekström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sigfrido Auletta in the 83rd minute of play. Italy's Adriano Curto was substituted for Zaccheo Andolina. Italy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Siricio Liotta in the 85th minute. Italy's Porziano Marchitelli was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Wiktor Ekström in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Åsbro Flåsegutter's defense didn't have a chance, in the 86th minute, when Sansone Vanella scored to the left of an out of position Wiktor Ekström, making the score, 0-5. Petri Romeu made in the 90th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Italy's Eliseo Cutri. Wiktor Ekström made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Porziano Marchitelli sent off a good shot on target. In the 93rd minute, Porziano Marchitelli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wiktor Ekström was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Wiktor Ekström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Porziano Marchitelli went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. The Italy players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
