Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Portugal's Viriato Moura started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With his leg Wilson Amorim managed to avoid a goal in the 6thth minute, when Ajax Poland's Eugeniusz Poniewaz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 13th minute, Eugeniusz Poniewaz made a precise shot to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Mateusz Baran could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Wilson Amorim made a huge save. Ajax Poland's attentive Abdurrahman Gulson managed to snatch the ball when Bruno Bastos made a throw-in in the 17th minute of the game. After 19 minutes of play, Ajax Poland's Eugeniusz Poniewaz made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilson Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 23rd minute, Eugeniusz Poniewaz made a precise shot to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Korneliusz Rasimowicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute, Raul Caetano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Korneliusz Rasimowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Barreto in the 46th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugeniusz Poniewaz in the 57th minute of play. After 58 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Bastos. Portugal made a substitution. Felipinho Amorim replaced Felipe Barreto. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bartolomeu Dias in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Korneliusz Rasimowicz saved Ajax Poland from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Bartolomeu Dias put it in 3-3 from a short distance just to the right of Korneliusz Rasimowicz. Korneliusz Rasimowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartolomeu Dias in the 74th minute of the match. Felipinho Amorim's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Korneliusz Rasimowicz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. After 91 minutes, Mateusz Baran mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ajax Poland and the Portugal players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mateusz Baran kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After 94 played minutes Ajax Poland got a freekick which was hit by Eugeniusz Poniewaz. In the 97th minute, Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-5. The Portugal supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Portugal would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
